🚨 ITV Scheduling Chaos: ‘Emmerdale’ Lands Rare 9PM Episode Slot! 🕒
Emmerdale gets a rare 9pm airing later this month as the soap continues to be hit hard by scheduling changes.
Both Emmerdale and Coronation Street are moving around the schedules in the coming weeks as ITV makes way for live World Cup coverage – and we’ve been keeping track of the changes so you don’t miss an episode.
A new set of schedules has dropped today, revealing even more disruption in the week commencing Monday 22 June.
On Monday 22 June, Emmerdale airs an extended hour-long episode at 8pm on ITV1 to make up for missed airings elsewhere.
This is followed by an hour-long Coronation Street at 9pm for the same reason.

On Tuesday 23 June, Emmerdale shifts to 9pm for 30 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of Coronation Street at 9.30pm.
This change is due to live coverage of the Portugal vs Uzbekistan game earlier in the evening.
On Wednesday 24 June, both soaps are off air to make way for the Switzerland vs Canada game on ITV1.
On Thursday 25 June, Emmerdale returns at 8pm for another special hour-long edition, followed by 60 minutes of Coronation Street at 9pm.
The two soaps then disappear from the schedules again on Friday 26 June as the Norway vs France game takes centre stage.
While Emmerdale and Coronation Street have been moving away from hour-long editions in favour of more “digestible” 30-minute episodes, normal service is being interrupted for the duration of the World Cup.

A full schedule guide for the next few weeks follows below. Episodes will continue to drop early at 7am on ITVX and YouTube on transmission days.
