Megan thinks she’s won Will back on Coronation Street—but a devastating twist changes EVERYTHING!
Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) made the brave decision to report Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) for sexually abusing him in Coronation Street recently. She was arrested and then charged, but Will receives some troubling news about her this week.
Telling the police about Megan came after Will had a chat with Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine), who was also taken advantage of by an older woman when he was younger.
When he returned home, Will overheard his dad Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) talking about how he thinks the ordeal with Megan has changed Will forever. During a quiet moment between father and son, Ben supported Will as he broke down over the reality finally hitting him.
This week, hopes of moving forward are put on hold when Ben learns from the police that Megan has been released on bail.
Ben gently breaks the news to Will, but he finds it difficult to relax and admits to Tim that it feels like he’s now constantly looking over his shoulder.
Next week, Will is shocked when Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) confronts him, telling him that he’s evil and wishes he was dead. Will remains unaware that Sam is struggling with his mental health and absorbs these comments.
He then overhears an emotional Ben talking about how he fears that Megan has ruined Will’s life. Devastated by the comments from Sam and Ben, Will climbs onto the shop yard scaffolding and starts drinking vodka.
He’s spotted by Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey), who texts Maggie Driscoll (Pauline McLynn) for help while Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) runs into the pub.
Maggie climbs up to Will as the rest of the Driscoll clan watch the ordeal unfold.
Due to the chaos of the situation, they remain unaware that Megan is watching.
In the week, Hope tells Will that she saw him with Megan and that he should tell Ben. Just as Will picks up his coat, a note flutters out of his pocket. He reads it and learns that it’s Megan’s new mobile number.

Just what exactly Will does with the new piece of information remains to be seen, but it’s very possible Will could leave Megan shocked soon, as it’s suggested that a new romance might be blossoming between him and Hope.
Ruby (Billie Naylor) tells Fiz and Tyrone Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine and Alan Halsall) that Hope fancies Will and that they’re going to revise together.
Fiz advises Hope not to get involved and in true Hope style, she obviously doesn’t listen. Towards the end of the week, Will and Hope get going with their English revision, and Hope likens the carnage of Will’s love life to that of Romeo and Juliet.
Will laughs and an earwigging Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) is pleased to hear them getting on.
If Will continues spending more time with Hope, could this help him with moving forward from Megan?
