The shocking reason they suddenly changed ‘kids’ to ‘children’ and ‘family tree’ will blow your mind!

Reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley have become very public faces for prison and a pardon.

And at times, their children have had incidents with the law.

In June 2022, the reality TV couple was found guilty of conspiring to defraud community banks in Atlanta out of more than $36 million in fraudulent loans, defrauding the IRS and committing tax evasion. Julie Chrisley was additionally convicted of obstruction of justice and wire fraud.

In January 2023, both turned themselves in and started serving time, his a 12-year sentence and hers a 7-year judgment: Todd Chrisley at FPC Pensacola in Florida and Julie Chrisley at FMC Lexington in Kentucky.

Then, in a stunning move, Donald Trump, himself a former reality TV star, issued a full presidential pardon on May 28, 2025, for Todd and Julie Chrisley. The pair walked out of their prisons a day later.

As Julie and Todd Chrisley, the stars of “Chrisley Knows Best” and several spinoffs, mark one year since their presidential pardon and high-profile release, here’s a guide to the children who have appeared on the show and what life was like before and after their parents’ incarceration.

The Chrisleys shot to fame in the early 2010s thanks to their hit series on the USA Network, which followed the multimillionaire real estate tycoons and their family’s lavish lifestyle in Atlanta and Nashville. The show drew in over 2 million viewers by its eighth season and inspired spinoffs such as “Growing Up Chrisley” and “According to Chrisley.”

Todd Chrisley has five children, three of whom are with his wife, Julie Chrisley. Here’s a guide to the Chrisley clan.

Lindsie Chrisley is the oldest of Todd Chrisley’s two children from his first marriage to Teresa Terry and is a former cast member of “Chrisley Knows Best.”

Initially, the 36-year-old Georgia State University alumna was seen on the show for the first five seasons with her son Jackson and then-husband, Will Campbell. However, she became estranged from the family in 2017 following her father’s tax evasion and bank fraud allegations.

Todd Chrisley accused his oldest daughter of reporting him to authorities and spreading rumors on social media during an episode of PeopleTV’s Reality Check. According to a 2019 statement by her lawyer, she denied his allegations.

On May 24, 2026, days before Todd and Julie Chrisley’s one-year anniversary of their Trump pardon, Lindsie Chrisley Campbell was arrested in Cherokee County, Georgia, on suspicion of driving under the influence, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to USA TODAY. She was released later that day on an almost $6,000 bond. Todd and Julie Chrisley were granted a presidential pardon on May 28, 2025, and released from their respective prisons the next day.

Kyle Chrisley is the eldest son of Todd Chrisley and his ex-wife, Teresa Terry.

According to Parade, he is a recovering addict with bipolar disorder. The 34-year-old appeared in the first season of “Chrisley Knows Best,” but a recurrence of his drug addiction led to an estrangement from his famous father.

In 2019, Kyle Chrisley said he achieved sobriety. He spoke about it on an episode of the “Chrisley Confessions” podcast and talked about his substance abuse, mental health and suicide attempt that led to his hospitalization, according to E! News.

People magazine reported that Kyle Chrisley married Ashleigh Nelson on March 30, 2021, in St. Augustine, Florida. The document reveals the couple got the license in St. Johns County, Florida, on March 29 that year. He adopted her two kids from a prior relationship.

Kyle Chrisley has a 13-year-old daughter, Chloe Chrisley, with his ex-girlfriend Angela Johnson. Chloe Chrisley was under the care of Todd and Julie Chrisley until their imprisonment, after which Savannah Chrisley took over custody.

During the past few years, Kyle Chrisley has been arrested three times — in 2023, 2024 and 2025. His most recent arrests saw multiple charges, including suspicion of domestic assault, three counts of assaulting an officer, resisting arrest, public intoxication, disorderly conduct and three counts of retaliation, according to Rutherford County court records reviewed by USA TODAY.

Chase Chrisley is Todd Chrisley’s oldest child with Julie Chrisley and has appeared on the hit show “Chrisley Knows Best” since the beginning.

On Jan. 6, 2025, Chase Chrisley was arrested on suspicion of a “simple assault” following an incident at Twin Peaks sports bar in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood in Georgia.

It was revealed during the series finale of Lifetime’s “The Chrisleys: Back to Reality,” which was released Sept. 1, 2025, or Labor Day, that Chase Chrisley entered rehab amid his struggles with alcohol and substance abuse. That show chronicled Todd and Julie Chrisley’s release from prison and their adjustment to life post-incarceration.

The second-oldest from Todd and Julie Chrisley’s marriage, Savannah Chrisley is a 28-year-old reality TV star best known for her appearances on “Chrisley Knows Best,” “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” and “The Masked Singer” on Fox.

Savannah Chrisley had been the most vocal about her parents’ treatment in prison, claiming they were being treated very poorly while serving time at FMC Lexington in Lexington, Kentucky, and FPC Pensacola in Pensacola, Florida. She lobbied for her parents’ release and even spoke at the Republican National Convention in July 2024.

In a May 2025 video posted to Instagram, she revealed that Donald Trump, a former reality TV star himself, personally called her to let her know he would issue a presidential pardon for her parents.

“I have shed so many tears. The president called me personally as I was walking into Sam’s Club and notified me that he was signing pardon paperwork for both my parents,” she said in 2025. “So both my parents are coming home tonight or tomorrow. And I still don’t believe it’s real.”

Since her parents’ release from prison, Savannah Chrisley has appeared as a guest host on “The View” and as a guest speaker at events for Turning Point USA. She also filmed scenes for “The Chrisleys: Back to Reality” on Lifetime TV.

On May 11, 2026, it was announced that Savannah and Julie Chrisley were cast in another reality show that premieres in 2027: “Reality Retreat” on Prime Video with other high-profile reality starlets who weathered their share of scandal and notoriety online.

The youngest of the Chrisley pack, Grayson Chrisley, is a student at the University of Alabama. He revealed in a podcast with his older sister, Savannah Chrisley, that he was majoring in business and minoring in sports management.

Weeks after his parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were freed from their respective prisons in Florida and Kentucky, Grayson Chrisley appeared with them and Savannah Chrisley in an exclusive interview with Lara Trump. Lara Trump, the president’s daughter-in-law and wife of Eric Trump, previously interviewed Savannah Chrisley in spring 2025. She hosts “My View with Lara Trump” on Fox News Channel and met with the Chrisleys in their Nashville, Tennessee, home in June 2025.

Grayson Chrisley was most recently featured in the reality docuseries “The Chrisleys: Back to Reality” on Lifetime TV.

Chloe Chrisley is the 13-year-old granddaughter of Todd Chrisley and daughter of Kyle Chrisley. According to E! News, Todd and Julie Chrisley adopted her when she was 4 years old.

Not much is known about the preteen; however, Todd and Chrisley have shared their hopes for raising Chloe as “one of their own.”

“What we’re sitting here teaching her is about God, about family, about being kind, generous, considerate,” Todd Chrisley said on the Chrisley Confessions 2.0 podcast. “Those are the things that we teach her. And the way that we’re bringing her up is working.”
