Emmerdale star reacts as husband lands major new film role alongside iconic Dynasty legend!

Emmerdale star Amy Walsh has been seen supporting her husband, fellow actor Toby-Alexander Smith, as he’s set to hit the big screen in a new film alongside a Dynasty legend.
The actress is best known for playing Tracy Robinson in the ITV soap, and some will already be e aware that she is married to former EastEnders star Toby.
He played Gray Atkins in the BBC One soap from 2019 to 2022. During his time on the rival soap, he turned into a serial killer after murdering his wife, Chantelle, Tina Carter and Kush Kazemi in cold blood.
He’s taken on various roles since, including a Jane Austen adaptation, and earlier this year appeared in the Amazon Prime film Seeking Persephone, starring as Harry Windover.
But Toby has now been seen, alongside Amy, celebrating the upcoming release of A Murder Between Friends. The whodunnit stars Dame Joan Collins, who is best known for playing Alexis Carrington in the 1980s US soap Dynasty.
A Murder Between Friends follows a true-crime TV star (Dame Joan) as she gets tasked with solving a murder mystery at her country estate.
Dame Joan was seen hitting the red carpet on Tuesday (June 2) for the film’s UK premiere with Toby, who stars in the film alongside Days Of Our Lives’ Nadia Bjorlin. They were also joined at the event by its two co-directors, General Hospital star Jacob Young and US actor Trent Garrett.

Following the screening, Amy took to Instagram and shared a picture from inside and said: “It’s not every day your husband is on the big screen.” She then shared a follow-up post of the film’s credits and said: “Proud of you guys!”
A Murder Between Friends will be available from June 15 on digital platforms including Prime Video, Apple TV, Sky Store, and Virgin Movies
