The Rip and Joaquin Team-Up in Dutton Ranch Ep 7 You Never Saw Coming!
Dutton Ranch Episode 7 Trailer: Rip and Joaquin Team Up as the War Inside Ten Pedal Begins
Episode 6 of Dutton Ranch may have ended, but the real storm is only beginning. At this point in the season, one thing is becoming very clear: Beth and Rip are not simply surviving inside Ten Pedal Ranch. They are moving pieces, gaining influence, and slowly turning Beulah Jackson’s own kingdom against itself.
And if the trailer for Episode 7 is any indication, the next chapter could push every major storyline into dangerous territory.
The biggest twist coming out of Episode 6 was the shocking betrayal involving Rob-Will and Chad. Their anger toward Joaquin had clearly been building for some time, but Episode 6 showed just how far that hatred had gone. After being pushed away from the ranch and stripped of control, Rob-Will and Chad reached a point where frustration turned into violence.
Their decision to go after Joaquin was not just reckless.
It was a declaration of war.
Even before the attack, the way they moved felt unpredictable and dangerous. Their bitterness, drinking, and desperation made them look like two men with nothing left to lose. Chad eventually managed to wound Joaquin, and for a moment, it looked like the Jackson family was about to lose one of its most important players.
Then Miguel appeared.
Miguel’s reaction was instant and brutal. He did not hesitate. He stepped in and stopped Chad before the situation could go any further. That moment mattered because it proved something important about Miguel: his loyalty to the Jackson family is not casual. It is absolute. And that could make him one of the most dangerous obstacles Beth and Rip will face moving forward.
Miguel may not talk as much as Beulah. He may not manipulate like Joaquin. He may not explode like Rob-Will. But he acts when action is required. And in a ranch full of secrets, a man like that can become a serious threat.
But the real brilliance of Episode 6 came from Rip.
After the attack, Rip helped get Joaquin to Everett. On the surface, it looked like Rip was simply doing the right thing. But Rip Wheeler rarely wastes a moment. While Joaquin was hurt, vulnerable, and shaken, Rip used the opportunity to get closer to the truth about the body dumped on Dutton land.
And he got what he needed.
That scene may become one of the most important turning points of the season. Rip did not just save Joaquin. He gained leverage. He turned one of Beulah’s strongest pieces into a possible ally. More importantly, he now has someone inside Ten Pedal who also has a reason to go against Rob-Will.
That is why Episode 7 could be so explosive.
The idea of Rip and Joaquin teaming up changes the entire power structure inside Ten Pedal Ranch. Joaquin has knowledge, influence, and access. Rip has patience, strength, and a long memory. Together, they could become the one alliance Rob-Will never saw coming.
And Rob-Will is exactly where Episode 7 seems to be heading.
The episode title, “Den of Sin,” sounds like a warning. It suggests a place filled with secrets, betrayal, violence, and temptation. That fits perfectly with where the story is now. Ten Pedal Ranch is no longer just a workplace for Rip and Beth. It is a battlefield where every smile hides a strategy and every conversation could become a trap.
The most obvious confrontation will likely be between Rip and Rob-Will.
Rip may begin by searching for Rob-Will at the rehabilitation facility where he was supposedly sent. But if Rob-Will is not there, that immediately proves he is acting outside Beulah’s control. Joaquin may then point Rip toward Chad’s house or another hidden location connected to the attack. That could lead to a tense showdown between Rip, Joaquin, and Rob-Will.
And if that happens, Rob-Will will be in serious danger.

Rip has never been a man who makes empty threats. If he believes Rob-Will is responsible for the body on his land, the attack on Joaquin, or any part of the chaos surrounding Ten Pedal, he will not treat him gently. But Joaquin may stop Rip from going too far, not because he loves Rob-Will, but because killing Beulah’s biological son would damage Joaquin’s position with her.
That is where the tension becomes fascinating.
Joaquin may want Rob-Will stopped, but he still needs Beulah’s approval. Rob-Will, on the other hand, may use that exact weakness against him. He could accuse Joaquin of working with Rip. He could make Beulah question whether Joaquin is still loyal to the family. And because Beulah’s attachment to Rob-Will runs deeper than logic, that accusation could land harder than Joaquin expects.
This is where Rip’s plan becomes brilliant.
Without openly attacking Beulah, he is helping turn her sons against each other. Rob-Will is unstable. Joaquin is calculating. Beulah is watching both of them. And Rip is standing in the middle, applying just enough pressure to make the cracks widen.
That is classic Dutton strategy.
But Beulah is not blind.
Episode 6 already made it clear that she is beginning to understand Beth’s game. Even though Beth and Beulah managed to close a powerful deal together, Beulah revealed just how much she has been studying Beth by asking questions about John Dutton and Jamie. Those are not random names. Those are wounds. Those are pressure points.
If Beulah suspects Beth had something to do with Jamie’s death, then Beth is no longer simply playing offense.
She is exposed.
That means Episode 7 could force Beth into one of her most dangerous battles yet. Beulah may begin tightening her control, watching Rip more closely, and using the past as a weapon. She may not know every secret, but she knows enough to make Beth uncomfortable. And when two women like Beth and Beulah begin testing each other, the damage rarely stays private.
Then there is Everett.
His connection to Beulah grew more emotional in Episode 6, and that may not be accidental. Beth and Rip may have quietly encouraged that reconnection as part of a larger strategy. If Everett still has influence over Beulah, then bringing him closer could give them another way to affect her decisions. It is a risky move, but Beth has never been afraid of using emotion as leverage.

Finally, Carter may be heading toward his own crisis.
He feels trapped under Beth and Rip’s protection. He wants freedom, but he does not know what freedom will cost him. His feelings for Oriana make him even more vulnerable. If Oriana rejects him, encourages him to leave, or pushes him toward independence, Carter could make a reckless decision that changes everything.
He may run.
He may betray Beth and Rip without meaning to.
Or he may walk straight into Beulah’s reach.
That is what makes Episode 7 feel so dangerous. Rip is building an alliance with Joaquin. Beth is being studied by Beulah. Rob-Will is preparing to strike back. Miguel is proving his loyalty. Everett may become a hidden advantage. And Carter is emotionally unstable enough to become the mistake that ruins everything.
The Duttons are gaining ground.
But Ten Pedal Ranch is not falling apart quietly.
Episode 7 may not just be about Rip and Joaquin teaming up. It may be about the moment everyone inside Beulah’s empire realizes the war has already begun.
