Later, Fiona spells out to Carl that he’s got a week to do what she says or his life won’t be worth living. Having overheard their exchange, a furious Debbie turns on Carl, demanding an explanation.

Meanwhile, Brody runs into Debbie, Sally, Bernie, Glenda and Christina. They come to Brody’s rescue and send the scallies packing. In the Rovers, Dev and Tim discuss the fact that they’ve heard nothing from their wives, their messages have gone unanswered and they’re starting to panic. Will Brody put them out of their misery?

Later, a sombre-looking Maria tells Gary that they need to talk. Masking his unease, Gary suggests they meet for a curry later.

When Harry admits to Kit that he likes having him around, Kit assures him the feeling is mutual.

Also today, Ben and Nick bond over their recent troubles parenting their sons. Later, Nick’s horrified to realise the extent of Sam’s suffering. Nick lashes out at Ben, blaming him for failing to spot Megan’s crimes sooner and thus causing Sam unnecessary suffering.
