Emmerdale star’s exit from ITV soap confirmed

AN Emmerdale star’s exit from the ITV soap has sadly been confirmed – despite fans begging for her to return.

The telly star quit the show while on maternity leave to focus on being a mum.

After leaving Emmerdale last year ahead of welcoming her first child, The Sun revealed the actress had no plans to return.

Actress Georgia Jay decided to quit the soap for good to put all her energy into her baby girl Nora.

Georgia joined the soap in 2024 as Caleb and Ruby Miligan’s estranged daughter Steph.

But now, her withdrawal from the series has been officially confirmed as the latest episode of the soap began to reveal her exit storyline.

Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) was seen helping Caleb drum up some business for his logistics company.

During the process he received a mysterious phone call from someone he believed was Steph, begging for money.

He handed over his bank account password to Billy and told him to secretly transfer £5k for a deposit on a London flat.

The pair are then baffled to find out that Steph is currently in Thailand, holidaying with her new man – so who’s asking her dad for money?

In a shocking twist, the person behind the call is revealed to be Jai Sharma’s son Archie.

He used AI to manipulate Steph’s voice and it proved successful as the £5k soon landed in his bank account.

Strong-willed Kerry Wyatt later delivered Archie’s new computer, which he ordered with the cash, and she quickly became suspicious.

Kerry then heard Steph’s AI’d voice – is it all over for Archie?

Emmerdale fans flocked to the soap stars Instagram after she shared a cryptic post paying tribute to her character in the past tense.

Georgia captioned the pictures from the Dales’ set: “Can’t believe I left the village nearly a year ago!

Fans flooded the comments begging her to return.

One person wrote: “So missed from the beloved miligans come back to us!”
