Georgia Jay Confirmed Her Departure From The Itv Soap Emmerdale
Emmerdale has confirmed Steph Miligan’s exit story, turning what looked like a temporary break into a permanent goodbye after Georgia Jay quit the ITV soap following the birth of her first baby, Nora, in June 2025. Jay’s first scenes as Steph aired in November 2024, and her departure now moves from casting news into the plot itself.
That is why viewers are searching for the answer today: Steph is on her way out of the village, and the show is tying her final chapter to a fresh twist involving her family. Steph is the daughter of Ruby Miligan and Caleb Miligan, and her story has already run through the reveal that she was conceived after Ruby was raped by her father, Anthony Fox. The next episodes push Caleb into the centre of the drama.
