‘DUTTON RANCH’ HAS SHATTERED EVERY MAJOR RECORD IN PARAMOUNT+ HISTORY li02
The biggest show of 2026 is almost certainly Dutton Ranch. After the end of Yellowstone in 2024, it made sense for fans to wonder if these characters could ever truly make a comeback. Marshals certainly proved that the world was ready for more Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes), and that series quickly rose to the top of streaming charts, as well as traditional network ratings. But the Yellowstone sequel series that truly feels more like Yellowstone is definitely Dutton Ranch. Beth and Rip may have left their heart in Montana, but moving to Texas was clearly a good move for the franchise.
On May 26, Paramount revealed that the debut on Dutton Ranch on May 15 makes it the biggest Paramount+ streaming launch in history. According to a press release from Paramount+ and as noted by The Hollywood Reporter, Dutton Ranch was the number one show on the Nielsen ratings charts, as well as the most-watched cable TV series (thanks to airings on the Paramount Network) since 2023.
It had 12.9 million viewers on Paramount+ in the first week alone, and 2.9 million viewers on the Paramount Network. If this keeps up, it stands to reason that Dutton Ranch will have roughly 15 million viewers every week, putting it on par with several TV legends, which suggests the Yellowstone audience hasn’t gone anywhere since the show ended. If anything, it’s grown.

The next episode of Dutton Ranch Season 1, “Start With a Bullet,” will hit Paramount+ on Friday, May 29. New episodes of Paramount+ shows tend to show up at midnight Eastern Time on Friday, which means, sometimes, those shows will appear as early as 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Thursdays.
There are nine episodes in Dutton Ranch Season 1 in total. Here’s how the scheduled shakes out.
