Lindsie Chrisley Fires Back After Shocking Arrest for DUI and Evading Police!
Lindsie Chrisley is speaking out after a weekend arrest in Georgia.

The “Chrisley Knows Best” alum, 36, was arrested on Saturday, May 23, around 10:25 p.m. and booked into the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, according to jail records obtained by PEOPLE and TMZ.
She was released after posting bond in the early morning hours of May 24.
The charges? DUI less safe, attempting to elude police, improper passing, reckless driving, and speeding.

For anyone unfamiliar with Georgia law, “DUI less safe” means a person can face drunk driving charges even if their blood alcohol concentration is below the standard 0.08 percent legal limit.
Bail was set at $1,355 for the DUI charge, $680 for improper passing, $565 for reckless driving, and $2,006 for speeding, according to the Cherokee County Jail.

Lindsie wasted no time telling her side of the story, breaking her silence in a statement to TMZ.
“I got pulled over speeding past a car on a two lane road because they almost hit an animal and I was trying to miss hitting them and whatever the animal was.”
She added that she plans to “fight the charge.”

The arrest comes during an incredibly turbulent stretch for Lindsie.
Just weeks earlier, her now ex-boyfriend, David Landsman, was arrested in Georgia on charges of misdemeanor battery and felony aggravated assault and strangulation.
He was booked into Cherokee County jail on April 10 before being released.
Both sides accused the other of getting physical during an April altercation. Landsman alleged Lindsie punched him during a fight, while Lindsie claimed he attacked and attempted to strangle her.

The two have since agreed to a mutual no contact order requiring both to stay 500 yards away from each other, their homes, and their workplaces.
The agreement also settled a custody battle over the couple’s Dachshund, Oliver, who was ultimately returned to Lindsie.
