One Month After Eric Dane’s Tragic Death, Rebecca Gayheart Finally Breaks Her Silence!
It’s been one month since Grey’s Anatomy star Eric Dane died from ALS at the age of 53.
Rebecca Gayheart, Dane’s estranged wife with whom he shared two children, has issued a brutally honest and heartfelt tribute to him on this anniversary.
Taking to Instagram, the Beverly Hills 90210 alum shared a beautiful video montage of Dane throughout his life. There are photos of Dane and Gayheart in the early days of their relationship, walking red carpets, posing for candid pictures, and even one of Dane placing his hands on a pregnant Gayheart’s belly.
Gayheart shared pictures of herself and Dane with his Grey’s Anatomy co-star Ellen Pompeo, at various Hollywood events, spending time with friends and family, and simply enjoying life. That life was complete with their two daughters, Billie and Georgia, who were all over Gayheart’s tribute with their dad, even as he struggled with the horrible disease.
Overall, though, Gayheart kept the tribute filled with happy moments that she and her girls can cherish forever. The actress was brutally honest about her feelings after losing Dane in the caption, saying, “There are no words. All our love forever — your girls ❤️🩹❤️.”

It was touching and heartbreaking all in one caption. The comments section of the social media share was filled with love and support for Gayheart and her daughters.
General Hospital star Laura Wright expressed, “This is so beautiful-❤️.” The Bold and the Beautiful star Ashley Jones shared, “💔♥️♥️💗 no words.holding you in prayers.”
“Watched to the end… Sending love to you, your girls, your family, and all his fans whom he made an indelible mark on by his extraordinary talent and presence. 💕” wrote Charisma Carpenter.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey stated, “So beautiful. Sending love, strength, and prayers to you and your beautiful girls. I am deeply saddened by your loss. Thank you for sharing.💔💔💔.”

Many opted to leave heart and broken-hearted emojis in response to Gayheart’s lovely tribute to Dane following his death.
The tribute comes a day after Gayheart and her two daughters made their first public appearance following his death. They were on hand to support Dane’s Euphoria co-star Zendaya in her new film The Drama, which also stars Robert Pattinson.
