You Are NOT Ready For What Happens In The Marshals Season 2 Trailer!
Marshals Season 2 Trailer: Is Beth Finally Coming Back?
The Season 1 finale of Marshals did not just end with a twist. It ended with a betrayal that could reshape the entire Dutton universe.
Tom and Dolly turning against Kayce gave fans one of the most shocking finales of the season, and now the biggest question is impossible to ignore: if Tate is heading to Texas with Tom, does that mean Beth and Rip are about to enter the story in Season 2?
After everything that happened at East Camp, the next chapter feels like it could explode from every direction.
The finale made one thing painfully clear: Kayce may have survived the immediate attack, but he is now surrounded by enemies who are much closer than he realizes. For most of the season, Tom seemed like a powerful but reasonable figure, someone who wanted East Camp for his own reasons but could still be understood. Dolly, meanwhile, appeared to genuinely care about Kayce. Her emotional connection with him made it seem like she might become someone who could help him heal after everything he had lost.
But by the end, that illusion was shattered.
After Kayce refused to sell East Camp, Tom’s real plan began to reveal itself. The attack on Thomas before his meeting with the senator was already alarming, but the follow-up assault on East Camp made it clear that someone was trying to crush Kayce’s future from every possible angle. Kayce, Mo, and the marshals managed to survive, but the violence reached inside the home itself, forcing Tate to confront danger once again.
That moment was especially heartbreaking. Tate has spent so much of his life trapped inside the chaos of the Dutton name. In Yellowstone, he had already been forced into a violent moment while protecting his mother. Now, in Marshals, he is once again pulled into the same cycle while trying to protect Thomas. No matter how much Kayce wants a different life for his son, the Dutton legacy keeps finding him.
And now Tate is going to Texas with Tom.
That detail may be the biggest setup for Season 2. If Tom is truly behind the attacks, then Tate is walking straight into the orbit of a man who has already proven he is dangerous, patient, and willing to hide his hand until the damage is done. But Tom is not likely to harm Tate immediately. That would expose him too quickly. Kayce would connect the dots, and the situation would turn into war overnight.
Instead, Tom may try something more subtle. He may keep Tate close, treat him well, and use the Texas trip to make himself look trustworthy. That is what makes this storyline so dangerous. Tate may not realize he is being used until the trap has already closed around his family.

But Texas also opens the door to something fans have been waiting for: Beth and Rip.
If Tate ends up anywhere near the Dutton Ranch, there is a strong chance he tells Beth and Rip what has been happening in Montana. And if there is one thing we know about Beth, it is that she does not ignore threats against family. Rip may be more controlled, but once he understands that Kayce and Tate are being manipulated, he is not going to sit quietly in Texas and watch it happen.
That is why Season 2 could become the bridge between Marshals and Dutton Ranch. Tate’s trip may not just be a side plot. It could be the event that pulls Beth and Rip directly into Kayce’s fight.
At the same time, Belle and Calvin’s storyline is far from over. Their ambush at the end of the finale looked terrifying, but it is hard to imagine the show ending their arc there. If they survive, they may become the first people able to confirm that Tom’s foreman was connected to the attacks. That information could be the key to exposing Tom before he gains full control of the situation.
Andrea may also become one of Season 2’s most important players. Her goodbye with Kayce felt too emotional to be final, and her investigation into the attack proved she was already seeing things others missed. Even if she was supposed to go to D.C., it feels unlikely that she will truly leave Montana behind. Her feelings for Kayce, combined with her instincts as an investigator, could bring her back at exactly the right moment.
There is also the possibility of a deeper Dutton mystery resurfacing. Season 1 allowed Kayce to stay focused on East Camp and the immediate threats around him, but the past is never buried for long in this universe. If Neil’s body is discovered or if questions about Jamie’s death return, Kayce could find himself pulled into legal trouble that reaches far beyond Tom Weaver. And if that happens, Beth and Rip will almost certainly be dragged into the storm too.
Season 2 also looks ready to explore Calvin on a much more emotional level. His cancer has not disappeared, and that struggle could make his relationship with Belle and Maddie even more powerful. Belle’s marriage appears to be falling apart, and Calvin may become the one person who truly understands her. Their bond could turn into one of the most emotional storylines of the next season.

As for when fans can watch it, Season 2 is expected to return in fall 2026, with production already underway according to the trailer discussion. That means the wait may not be as long as many feared.
The Season 1 finale ended with betrayal.
Season 2 may begin with consequences.
And if Tate’s road to Texas truly brings Beth and Rip back into Kayce’s world, then Marshals may be preparing for its biggest Dutton war yet.
